Review a week of bowel check-ins during caregiving days

Look back without rereading everything. When your attention is on someone else, your own small observations can be hard to recall.

What makes this useful

A short weekly review gives you a manageable window of recorded observations.

Keep the note about your own visit; other people’s names and health details are unnecessary. A consistent label such as “caregiving day” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Use the seven-day Journal view and open the entries you want to understand in more detail.
  2. Look at recorded shapes, comfort, and timing together, keeping unrecorded days separate.
  3. Find the “caregiving day” entries within the seven-day view. Review them beside the other saved visits that week, and keep days without entries visible as gaps in the record.

An example of useful context

“After the afternoon caregiving break.”

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.

Where this fits in LooPoo

How to keep a bowel diary you can actually use explains the full workflow and its limits.

Use Journal and Rhythm in the iPhone app for this part of your record. The record describes saved visits; an empty day does not prove that no visit occurred.

LooPoo keeps check-ins and preferences encrypted on your phone. It describes your observations without diagnosing, treating, or predicting a medical outcome.
