Review a week of bowel check-ins during day trips

Look back without rereading everything. An outward journey and a return on the same date can look like a single event in memory.

What makes this useful

A short weekly review gives you a manageable window of recorded observations.

Use outward, during the visit, or after returning as a short note. A consistent label such as “day trip” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Use the seven-day Journal view and open the entries you want to understand in more detail.
  2. Look at recorded shapes, comfort, and timing together, keeping unrecorded days separate.
  3. Find the “day trip” entries within the seven-day view. Review them beside the other saved visits that week, and keep days without entries visible as gaps in the record.

An example of useful context

“After returning from the day trip, before dinner.”

Was the saved visit before leaving, while away, or after returning?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.

Where this fits in LooPoo

How to keep a bowel diary you can actually use explains the full workflow and its limits.

Use Journal and Rhythm in the iPhone app for this part of your record. The record describes saved visits; an empty day does not prove that no visit occurred.

LooPoo keeps check-ins and preferences encrypted on your phone. It describes your observations without diagnosing, treating, or predicting a medical outcome.
