Remove an unwanted journal entry during interrupted check-ins

Keep deliberate control of individual visits. A call or another task can interrupt a check-in before you know whether it was saved.

What makes this useful

A duplicate or unwanted entry can get in the way of a useful record.

Reopen the app and check the saved record before starting the visit again. A consistent label such as “interrupted entry” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Open the visit you intend to remove and verify its date and details before choosing Delete.
  2. Read the confirmation carefully so you remove the intended visit.
  3. Similar notes during interrupted check-ins may describe separate real visits. Compare dates and times before deleting a “interrupted entry” entry as a duplicate.

An example of useful context

“Morning visit; interrupted while adding the note.”

Is there already a saved visit with the date and details you intended?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.

Where this fits in LooPoo

A private poop tracker without a journal account explains the full workflow and its limits.

Use Journal in the iPhone app for this part of your record. Deletion removes a real record; exporting first is an option when you want to keep a separate copy.

LooPoo keeps check-ins and preferences encrypted on your phone. It describes your observations without diagnosing, treating, or predicting a medical outcome.
