Correct a saved check-in during retail shifts

Keep your record aligned with what you remember. Opening, closing, and changing break times can make retail workdays hard to compare.

What makes this useful

A mistaken date or accidentally chosen answer can make a record harder to use later.

Label an opening or closing shift and keep employer and customer details out of the note. A consistent label such as “retail shift” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Open the saved visit, review it, and choose Edit to correct the detail.
  2. Save the correction and reopen the entry to confirm the intended change.
  3. Use a “retail shift” note and the visit date to locate the entry from retail shifts. Correct only the mistaken field, then confirm the other details still match the visit you intended to edit.

An example of useful context

“Closing shift, after my break.”

Were these visits on the same kind of shift or on different schedules?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.
