What makes this useful
When you remember a detail but not a date, search is a useful starting point.
Use arrival day, full day, or departure day instead of a host’s name. A consistent label such as “staying with friends” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.
A practical way to begin
- Search for a word from the note, shape, comfort, or saved routine details.
- If nothing matches, remove an extra search word or broaden the active filter.
- Start with “staying with friends” if you used that phrase in your notes. Otherwise search a word you actually saved, such as one from “Departure morning, before packing my bag.” New labels will not find older notes that lack them.
An example of useful context
“Departure morning, before packing my bag.”
Which day of the stay does the entry describe?
Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.
