Find a remembered check-in during desk-based workdays

Retrieve a visit from its details. Meetings and focused work can make it difficult to remember small details at the end of the day.

What makes this useful

When you remember a detail but not a date, search is a useful starting point.

A simple morning or afternoon work label is often more useful than a detailed work diary. A consistent label such as “desk day” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Search for a word from the note, shape, comfort, or saved routine details.
  2. If nothing matches, remove an extra search word or broaden the active filter.
  3. Start with “desk day” if you used that phrase in your notes. Otherwise search a word you actually saved, such as one from “Between afternoon meetings.” New labels will not find older notes that lack them.

An example of useful context

“Between afternoon meetings.”

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.
