Set a check-in reminder during late-finishing days

Choose a useful prompt to remember your record. Late evenings can make it easy to confuse the date of a visit with the date you finally went to bed.

What makes this useful

A reminder is a prompt to record an observation, not a demand to have a bowel movement.

Keep the visit date accurate and describe the late finish only as context. A consistent label such as “late finish” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Choose a daily reminder time during onboarding or in Account.
  2. Review or disable the reminder from Account when it is no longer useful.
  3. During late-finishing days, use the reminder to decide whether there is a real visit to record. Skip it when there is nothing to add, and revisit the time when the “late finish” routine changes.

An example of useful context

“After a late finish; still before midnight.”

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.

Where this fits in LooPoo

Set bowel-journal reminders that fit your day explains the full workflow and its limits.

Use Account in the iPhone app for this part of your record. The notification does not need private visit details on your lock screen.

LooPoo keeps check-ins and preferences encrypted on your phone. It describes your observations without diagnosing, treating, or predicting a medical outcome.
