Set a check-in reminder during rotating shifts

Choose a useful prompt to remember your record. A repeating rotation can contain mornings, evenings, and days off within the same week.

What makes this useful

A reminder is a prompt to record an observation, not a demand to have a bowel movement.

Use a consistent name for each shift type and retain the actual calendar date. A consistent label such as “shift rotation” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Choose a daily reminder time during onboarding or in Account.
  2. Review or disable the reminder from Account when it is no longer useful.
  3. During rotating shifts, use the reminder to decide whether there is a real visit to record. Skip it when there is nothing to add, and revisit the time when the “shift rotation” routine changes.

An example of useful context

“Morning shift in this rotation, before leaving home.”

Are the entries from matching shift types, or simply consecutive dates?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.

Where this fits in LooPoo

Set bowel-journal reminders that fit your day explains the full workflow and its limits.

Use Account in the iPhone app for this part of your record. The notification does not need private visit details on your lock screen.

LooPoo keeps check-ins and preferences encrypted on your phone. It describes your observations without diagnosing, treating, or predicting a medical outcome.
