Find a remembered check-in during rotating shifts

Retrieve a visit from its details. A repeating rotation can contain mornings, evenings, and days off within the same week.

What makes this useful

When you remember a detail but not a date, search is a useful starting point.

Use a consistent name for each shift type and retain the actual calendar date. A consistent label such as “shift rotation” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Search for a word from the note, shape, comfort, or saved routine details.
  2. If nothing matches, remove an extra search word or broaden the active filter.
  3. Start with “shift rotation” if you used that phrase in your notes. Otherwise search a word you actually saved, such as one from “Morning shift in this rotation, before leaving home.” New labels will not find older notes that lack them.

An example of useful context

“Morning shift in this rotation, before leaving home.”

Are the entries from matching shift types, or simply consecutive dates?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.
