Review a custom date range during visits to relatives

Focus on the days you actually want to review. Staying with relatives introduces household time markers that may differ from your own.

What makes this useful

A trip or schedule change does not always fit a preset week or month.

Describe your own day without adding relatives’ names, addresses, or health details. A consistent label such as “family visit” helps connect the day you remember with the visit you saved.

A practical way to begin

  1. Choose dates in Journal, set the first and last day, and apply the range.
  2. Clear the custom range when you want to return to the standard 7-, 30-, or 90-day view.
  3. For visits to relatives, use the first and last dates you want included. A “family visit” note can then narrow the range to relevant visits rather than every visit on those days.

An example of useful context

“Second morning of the family visit, before everyone went out.”

Does your note identify the occasion without revealing someone else’s private information?

Use your own wording and the details you remember. A short, recognizable note makes it easier to find the visit later.
